That's "raspberry"! Hullo!
Don't you know the difference between raspberry and pink???
We're gonna have to work on your rainbow categorizations! :~p

I must confess that I'm taking it entirely out of context! :~/
He was using the color pink as a metaphor of watering down two extreme colors of white and red; as far as I know, neither Chesterton nor the “historic Church” has any dislike for the actual color pink, only the concept of the mediocrity of meshing two extremes by which he used the color pink to demonstrate.
Just for humor’s sake, I like to stretch people’s remarks to suit my own agenda!
Haha (with that “evil laugh” tone) :~D
